My friends in Kenya ask for some support. During the last 10 years many children did have the chance to find and improve their talents and to go to a school and became young learners thanks to Better Me. As time passes, many of them were promoted to next higher schools these costs are significantly higher. During the past years those young people have demoed and improved their skill sets and should be supported for the further time at the (high) school for a brighter future.
The Urgency:
Without us paying school fee balances by September, 114 children are at risk to be sent home from schools!
Schools have been gracious to give us more time, but they can’t give us any more.
The Need:
In Kenya, access to education remains a challenge for many children due to financial barriers. Better Me is dedicated to supporting bright but vulnerable high school students who risk dropping out due to lack of school fees. For this we created the SHAPE Education Fund, which provides 70-100% scholarships for students in need.
The Opportunity:
With just $247, you can fund a 70% scholarship* of one child’s high-school education for an entire year. This immensely lightens the burden on the family and at the same time, keeps them empowered with a piece of ownership (30%) over their child’s education. Your generosity ensures uninterrupted learning and- with the bigger burden of the school fees taken care of- a much more stress free and nurturing family home.
*Most vulnerable cases receive 100% scholarships.
Our Goal:
We are committed to support 114 students this year. So far, thanks to our volunteer program, we have paid out over โฌ15.000 in school fees, but we urgently need your help to fund the remaining balance.
How can you help?
๐ Kindly visit this fundraising page to leave any support you can effort.
๐ Kindly share this website and put this small and beautiful Kenyan village into a spotlight!
I have visited and worked for free at this place twice. For months. Free of charge. On my own account. I know where your support goes to. To the people. Not to just “any random organisation’s administrative efforts”.
I can tell you first hand where the money goes to. And who the people are. Or you read here.

Thank you so much! ๐ โค๏ธ
